Jolly Rovers
Taverns in this world were mostly filled with adventurers from all over taking a break from a long journey, having drinks, playing games, or just plain out having fun. And sometimes, this group of adventurers—Jolly Rovers their name—would come into a tavern and do a live concert to liven things up. They hopped from one tavern to the next, as they went on their own thrilling, but fun adventure.
This is a little sneak peek to one of their performances.
This is my entry for the Broken Telephone Jam #4: Music jam where jammers create music based on an image prompt. And for this jam, the image prompt is a tavern. Based on the image prompt, I wanted to create a soundtrack that depicted a live concert in a tavern.
For the instruments, I chose a bamboo flute and violin for the melody, a guitar for the chord, a bagpipe for the accompaniment, a tambourine, a maracas, and a cajon for percussion, and crowd noises and a door bell sound for the tavern ambience.
Credits due to ivolipa for the crowd noises and 3bagbrew for the door bell sound.
